23 Weeks

I now know that my pregnancy sleepiness can be diminished by just keeping busy and dancing my booty off.  Clay and I (and Baby S) attended a wedding of one of my favorite friends in Nashville a couple of weekends ago.  It was a beautiful weekend and even more gorgeous ceremony and reception!  We stayed out until midnight (which is 3 hours past my normal weekend bedtime if I am just lounging on the couch) and had a blast! I was able to keep up until my body just started hurting all over from carryout around my extra weight... I call that a success.

On another note, I am getting larger by the day! It's amazing how much this little bump is no longer little anymore. It's even more exciting now that Clay can feel the kicks! Baby seems to honestly have my sleep schedule.  I only feel kicks while at work or in the evening... then it's all quiet until morning again.  Our only hope is that he/she will keep that up. :)

How far along: 23 weeks
Maternity clothes: Always! I bought my first pair of maternity jeans from the Gap and I don't know if I can ever go back to real jeans with buttons.
Stretch marks: Nope! Hoping it stays this way.
Belly button in or out: Still debatable, but definitely on it's way out.
Sleep: Not perfect-- but my Nest Bump Maternity Pillow should be on our doorstep any day! I scored a deal on Zulily and got a discounted price... the only condition is they take their sweet time delivering the sucker.
Best moment this week: Clay feeling the kicks! I'm so glad they are strong enough for others to feel now.
Worst moment this week:  Nothing horrible-- other than maybe getting a cold since I can't kick these headaches.
Miss anything: Still red wine on Bachelor Nights-- see below for our group pic for Juan Pablo's season!
Movement: Tons!
Cravings: Still nothing exciting-- same ol' diet as before (just more of it)
Queasy or sick: Feel great!
Looking forward to: Filling the nursery now that it's painted.  Pics to come!
